Laying hen wormout

This worming liquid for chickens claims that there is no with holding period for eggs. That is NOT the truth. In fact there is a withholding period! Also the ingredient in it is Levamisole hydrochloride and is a synthetic imidazothiazole anthelmintic used for roundworms in poultry… great. The drug is also well known for its immunomodulatory effects and is used as an adjutant treatment for colon cancer in humans. There is actually a 16 day withdrawal period for laying hens producing eggs. Why put on your label that a person doesn’t need to withdraw eggs if that’s not the truth. Won’t buy again.

Easy to use. Saw one parasitic worm in feces (hopefully dead) the day after drinking the medicated water.
