Enrofloxacin 10% is a generic form of Baytril and is a broad spectrum treatment that helps treat bacterial infections such as Paratyphoid, Mycoplasma, and Salmonella/E.coli. Safe to use on pet birds such as finches, canaries, pigeons, backyard chickens, and even pet rats.

Enrofloxacin 10%Dosage Instructions
Liquid: Administer 2 cc (ml) per quart of drinking water. Minimize dosage to 1 cc (ml) per quart after 4th day. Change water daily. Administering a probiotic supplement after the treatment is advised.
Powder: 1 teaspoon (5 grams) per gallon of drinking water for 5 to 7 consecutive days. Change water daily.
Warning: This product is formulated for pet birds only. Do not use on livestock and other animals whose meat or eggs are intended for human consumption. Please keep away from children and other pets.
Treatment Time in Pigeons: Mycoplasma/Respiratory: treat 5-7 consecutive days. Salmonella/E.coli treat 7-10 days.
Treatment should be given in conjunction with a liver support supplement such as DMG-15 .

First of all, I want to say that the shipping is super quick! My supplies got here 3 days early!
Secondly, I would keep this,along with Doxyvet, on hand for any Rat owner. My boys are super susceptible to Upper Respiratory Infections and these are life savers...literally. At the vet, you only get a small amount of these and the prices are more expensive. However, this is already premixed at the vet and this is not. You cannot give this to your ratty directly without mixing or it'll burn his mouth and throat! First, you need to weigh your ratty and depending on his weight, you need to get the exact dosage from RatMD. Whatever the dosage, you have to mix in a certain amount of water. It might be 50/50, not sure right now but check with that site. Remember not to put any reused syringes into the medicine bottle. Only pour out what you need into a cup and syringe from there. If you put a reused syringe into your bottle, it will cause it to crystallize early and the whole bottle could go bad. Another thing, when you have gotten the exact dosage along with the water into your syringe, swirl the syringe around in water first before administering. Use RatMD or go with Jedds instructions :-) Thank you Jedds store so much for saving my babies!

I bought this for our sick chicken. The vet says this is perfect strength for chickens. We gave her .2mL per day, she's 4 lbs.
